Winna Seal
This is an absolute  huge punch board  14in. by 13in..   There are a lot of great things to say about this board but I will start with how it is wrapped.  I believe this board to be in the late 20s or early 30s.  The board you get will be factory wrapped, that sounds like a good thing but it will take you about 30 minutes of careful peeling back all of the brown paper wrapper with possibly a little moisture to get it unwrapped.  But when you do, you will reveal fabulous colors and patina  that has been preserved for possibly 70 years.  The finish has kind of  a crazed varnish appearance [that is why you can use moisture in unwrapping it].  And the foil seals have three vibrant  colors: blue gold and silver.  A Union  Seal in the middle of the award area has vintage spelled all over it, and best yet it has a wooden, YES I said a wooden puncher tucked neatly in a holster in the back.  I have unwrapped about eight of these boards and none of them come out perfect!  The  foil seals are fragile, but I will make sure that the board you get has no noticeable breaks in the foil.  But you can expect some small flaws possibly a little curled tape, or a little crud stuck around the foil…$50. and because it is big and heavy I need $9. to box and ship it to you. Don’t worry It’ll be great.

Professor Charley (#2)
Here are two absolutely mint 1946 punchboards. You are buying a wrapped up package containing 2 punchboards identical to the one below. 12 ¼”X 10″  Graphically, I think this is one of the most interesting punchboards.  It has fabulous and brilliant colors, interesting shading, and of course that goofy looking professor in the corner overlooking the whole board.  The ruse here of course is punchboards were often touted as a game of knowledge, to try and circumvent the gambling laws.  So somebody really good at punchboards could be “The Professor”.  Superior Company in Chicago manufactured these punchboards.  I have a copy of a catalog that lists them. Remember you’re getting two punchboards that are wrapped together that have never seen the light of day.  When you open these up it will be the first breath of fresh air they have had in 53 years.  $30/2 or   $18 each unwrapped.
